Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure are to address the problems of performing time-based reconfiguration in mobile network. The method of the terminal includes receiving a first system information, receiving a second system information, receiving a RRC reconfiguration message, triggering a TAR before the first time point based on the first NTN configuration in the second scheduling information, and triggering the TAR after the first time point based on the second NTN configuration in the second scheduling information. The TAR comprises a timing advance field indicating a timing advance value applied by the terminal.
