摘要： This disclosure relates to a portable stopping for blocking crosscuts in mine entries to facilitate ventilation thereof. The stopping consists of a sheet of fire-resistant, gas impervious flexible material adapted to be extended across a crosscut between the roof, floor, and walls or ribs thereof. A frame structure is adapted to support the sheet in substantially airtight relationship across the crosscut. The frame carries elongated channel-like straps which are adapted to compress edge portions of the sheet against the roof, floor and side rib surfaces of the crosscut, thereby providing a substantially airtight seal about the perimeter of the sheet.
