摘要： The present invention is package for a sterile tool, and a system for housing and using the tool in a sterile environment. The tool in its non-functioning state, lacking non-sterile components, is disposable. The system permits insertion of non-sterile elements of the tool into the tool while maintaining sterility of the outside portion of the tool. When the package is opened, a door on the tool automatically closes over the non-sterile element in the sleeve.
