摘要： Polyaminopolyamide compounds are provided which comprise the reaction product of at least one carboxylic acid anhydride selected from mono-, di-, and poly-anhydrides with at least one polyamine of the formula:H.sub.2 N--R--(NH.sub.2).sub.xin an amount of at least about 2 moles per mole of carboxylic acid anhydride group wherein R is selected from an aromatic group containing from about 13 to about 34 carbon atoms; a cycloalkyl group containing from about 13 to about 34 carbon atoms; and an alkyl group containing from about 9 to about 25 carbon atoms, which may further contain at least one heteroatom selected from oxygen, nitrogen, and sulfur; and x is an integer of from about 2 to about 9, preferably from about 2 to about 5.
