摘要： A hinge connector for a foldable door includes a board body, a protruding column and two flexible pivotal strips. The foldable door includes a plurality of door panels, and a longitudinal groove with an opening is disposed in each of two lateral sides of each door panel. The protruding column is protruded outwardly from an inner surface of the board body and includes two inwardly inclined side faces and an inner end face. Each pivotal strip is extended outwardly from one of the side faces of the protruding column and includes an enlarged connecting head formed on a terminal thereof. Each pivotal strip of the hinge connector is adapted to be engaged in the opening of an associated groove of a corresponding door panel with the connecting head of each pivotal strip engaged in the associated groove of the corresponding door panel.

A safety member is disposed in the gap formed between the door panels and includes two curved recesses for engaging with the rounded adjacent sides of the door panels. Two couplers are secured to the safety members and each includes two shafts engaged in the door panels for pivotally coupling the door panels together and for allowing the door panels to be rotated about the shafts. The safety member may enclose the gap for preventing a user from being hurt between the door panels.

摘要： The improved folding door and door frame assembly includes a door frame having a horizontal top channel member adapted to receive a number of depending door slides, and a vertical side frame member below the channel member. The assembly also includes a folding door formed of an array of interconnected, parallel, vertically extending polyvinyl chloride slats arranged in side by side relation. The slats have small staple fibers substantially uniformly distributed throughout the body thereof to give the slats a translucent sandy appearance and feel. Each slat in the arry preferably is corrugated to provide a number of integral parallel segments. Each slat has an integral side folding hinge extending along the length of one side thereof and a hinge-receiving slot or groove along the length of the opposite side of the slat. The slats are interconnected through the side hinges and grooves. The slat on one side of the array is connected to the door side frame through its side hinge, while the slat on the opposite side of the array is connected to a handle-bearing side panel through the side hinge of the panel. Preferably, the panel and frame are textured to match the slats. The aforementioned slides are connected to the upper ends of the side panel and slats to hold them in the vertical position in the frame.
