    摘要： Products resulting from contacting (1) at least one compound selected from the group consisting of (a) at least one onium compound of the element nitrogen, phosphorus, sulfur or arsenic; (b) at least one amine compound; and (c) a mixture of any two or more of the (a) and (b) components; with (2) either (a) boric acid or (b) a mixture of boric acid and at least one acid having a weak nucleophilic anion are suitable catalysts for reacting vicinal epoxy-containing compounds with aromatic hydroxyl-containing compounds.
