    摘要： A zero insertion force dual-in-line plug and socket assembly comprising a socket housing having spaced rows of finger-proof terminal-receiving compartments and a dual-in-line plug supported by an insulating carrier with barriers extending between and beyond respective plug leads defining a finger-proof enclosure. The dual-in-line plug assembly is receivably as a free fit between the compartment rows and the socket assembly includes a closure member having a series of cams which urge the terminals into engagement with the plug leads on movement to a closed condition. The terminals include sinuous intermediate portions to provide desired flexural characteristics.

    摘要： A plastic television chassis adapted for use in combination with a cathode-ray tube within an enclosure includes a base having integral snap-together parts disposed at opposite ends thereof. A pair of side frames are attached, respectively, to the opposite ends of the base in a substantially orthogonal orientation. Each side frame has integral snap-together parts disposed adjacent a first edge thereof for mating with the snap-together parts of the base, and also has integral slidable-groove parts disposed along a second edge thereof adjacent the first edge. A panel is attached to the side frames by integral slidable-groove parts disposed along opposite sides thereof for mating, respectively, with the slidable-groove parts of the side frames.

    摘要： A light-reactive thermal window is disclosed having external and internal panes. The external pane is composed of photochromic glass, while the internal pane is composed of clear glass. The panes are separated by a space having a uniform thickness. Each of the panes has a peripheral edge, with a spacer located between the peripheral edges of the external and internal panes. A sealant seals the peripheral edges of the external and internal panes. The window may include a frame securing together the spacer, the sealant, and the peripheral edges of the panes. Also disclosed is a method of preventing glare on a screen while minimizing climate control costs by installing a light-reactive thermal window near the screen.
