摘要： An engagement system having a spring lock design to initially attach the two halves of the system together. After which the use of a multi start Acme lead screw provides a, consistent, low torque means of engagement. Although the engager requires the use of lubrication, to be applied initially, the lube is contained in a sealed environment. This eliminates the risk of contamination to electrical components and eliminates the need to apply additional lube during the products life. Because the present invention allows the ACME threads to be “meshed” at all times, it also eliminates the possibly of cross-threading.

摘要： A mass interconnect device having a receiver and test adapter, each having a plurality of modules, pins and patchcords connected thereto. The receiver has an independent rotatable engagement lever attached at each side for drawing a test adapter into engagement with the receiver. Each engagement lever has dual cams that mate with a slot in an engagement plate on each side of the test adapter, thereby permitting the pair to provide four-point pull-down of the test adapter into the receiver.

A plurality of raised bosses engaged with a plurality of hollows in the bottom of an adjacent insert shroud to allow stacking of contact sets. A pair of latches lock the insert shroud into a module after insertion. A pair of keying members on the sides of contact set prevent incorrect insertion of a contact set into a module.
