    摘要： An articulatable ship-on garment hanger having shielding means on the hanger body to prevent dislodgement of a garment from the hanger by outwardly directly dislodging forces, said means extending downwardly over the outside edges of the clamps to prevent dislodgement of a garment from a hanger by inwardly directed dislodging forces, the hanger having a pivot bar and the clamps having associated bar receiving structure which allows the clamps to swivel about the pivot bar in response to dislodgement forces imposed on the clamp means to thereby enable the clamp means to remain in gripping engagement with the hung garment under all bumps, shocks and dislodgement forces imposed on the clamp halves.

    摘要： A method and system for re-using and recycling garment hangers which is applicable to localized or world wide geographic areas and which (a) eliminates sorting at the collecting point for used hangers, usually a retail store, (b) handles re-usable, recyclable and scrap hangers without restriction on mix components of a given batch, (c) renovates and returns the re-used hangers and recycled hanger material to points of need, and (d) can be physically located at a location dictated solely by convenience considerations without mandatory reliance on the physical proximity of hanger manufacturing facilities. The recycled hanger material may be sorted into a first part suitable for recycling and a second part suitable for scrap by manual and/or non-manual means.

    摘要： A combination garment hanger and garment size indicating system is provided in the form of a garment hanger equipped with a tab-holding section that accommodates a size-indicating tab. Once the size-indicating tab is inserted into the tab-holding section, it is substantially unremovable. Any removal of the tab from the tab-holding section substantially damages the tab and renders it useless. The tab is ergonomically designed to reduce the likelihood of carpal tunnel syndrome in assembly-line workers charged with the task of installing the tabs on garment hangers.
