At least one external peripheral device menu is provided through a user interface of the printing machine and inputs are received to the external peripheral device menu. A processor of the printing machine controls operations of the external peripheral device based on the inputs to the external peripheral device menu. The processor executes instructions when providing the external peripheral device menu and when controlling operations of the external peripheral device.

摘要： A subscription request is received from a user into a graphic user interface of a printing device to subscribe to a subject which is administered and published by a network hosted service. The printing device forwards the subscription request to a computerized device connected to the printing device through a computerized network. The computerized device is connected to a plurality of different printing devices. The printing device receives a printer-specific publication from the computerized device over the computerized network in response to the subscription request. The method stores the printer-specific publication within computer-readable memory of the printing device. The method may or may not receive a command from a user through the graphic user interfact of the printing device before the printing device acts upon the specific publication (subject) received from the publishing device.

The computerized document management system is accessible to a plurality of users. The method receives a request from the user to provide a requested document and the method determines whether the requested document should be password protected. If the requested document should be password protected, the method generates a unique password for the requested document. The unique password is unique to the user and is based upon information contained within the user account by the computerized document management system. Again, if the requested document should be password protected, the method adds the unique password to the requested document to generate a password-protected document and sends the password-protected document to the first user.

The computerized device is operatively connected to the printing device and to a plurality of different printing devices through a computerized network. Further, the print job has one of many file formats and one of many ticketing types. If the file format and/or the ticketing type of the print job do not match one of many acceptable format types and acceptable ticketing types acceptable to the printing device, the computerized device converts the file format and/or the ticketing type of the print job into one of the acceptable format types and/or the acceptable ticketing types to produce a converted print job. The computerized device sends the converted print job to the printing device over the computerized network to allow the printing device to print the converted print job.
