Abstract:
A method for adjusting color saturation is adapted for color adjustment of a pixel in a color space. The method includes: determining a color cube in the color space; selecting one from a plurality of diagonals of the color cube as a primary diagonal, and setting the primary diagonal at a vertical axis of the color space; determining a hue azimuth angle and a height in the color cube desired by the pixel; determining a reference point at an outermost periphery of the color cube corresponding to the azimuth angle, and obtaining a reference height and a reference horizontal distance of the reference point distant from the primary diagonal; and obtaining a color saturation value of the pixel by multiplying the reference horizontal distance with a ratio between the reference height and the height of the pixel.
Abstract:
An image pickup apparatus which can photograph a high-definition image and a moving image of lower resolution at high quality and an image pickup system which uses the image pickup apparatus are provided. Unit pixel groups each of which comprises plural pixels including photoelectric conversion units and transfer transistors for transferring signal charges from the photoelectric conversion units, an amplification transistor common to the plural pixels, and the like are arranged in row and column directions. With respect to the plural unit pixel groups mutually adjacent in the row direction, control lines for controlling the transfer transistors respectively corresponding to the adjacent two photoelectric conversion units are alternately connected to an odd row and an even row in the row direction.
Abstract:
A video processor includes a video filter and a calculation circuit. The video filter performs a low-pass filtering operation on first frame data to obtain brightness distribution data. The calculation circuit obtains difference data between the brightness distribution data and second frame data. The calculation circuit multiplies the difference data and a weighting parameter together to obtain a product, and then summates the product and the second frame data together to generate processed frame data.
