    摘要: Microfluidic normally closed check valves and methods of making and using the same are provided. The check valves include an orifice, an occluding portion, and one or more attachment members which urge the occluding portion into a position occluding the orifice. In various embodiments, the attachment member or members are pre-stressed by thermal annealing to introduce tensile stress of at least 800 PSI therewithin, thereby increasing the cracking pressure of the valve
