摘要： A height adjustable stand comprises a base, a connecting member, a height extender, and a positioning mechanism. The base includes a support member protruding therefrom. The connecting member comprises a first surface and a first end frictionally and rotatably connected to the support member. The height extender is slidably connected to the connecting member and comprises a second surface and an upper connecting end for connecting with a flat panel display device. The positioning mechanism comprises a plurality of recessed portions formed in one of the first surface and the second surface, and a compressed elastic member slidably received in a receiving hole defined in the other one of the first surface and the second surface, one end of the elastic member being biased to be received in one of the plurality of recessed portions to locate the height extender in a desirable position.

摘要： A portable computer includes a main body having a top surface, a keyboard, a touchpad, an ejector assembly, and a latching assembly. A receiving recess and a receiving hole are defined in the top surface. The receiving hole is positioned between the receiving recess and the keyboard and communicates with the receiving recess to form a connecting portion. The touchpad is detachably received in the receiving recess and includes a touchpad body and an engaging member with an engaging portion protruding from the touchpad body adjacent to the keyboard. The ejector assembly includes at least one elastic member. One end of the elastic member is fixed to a side of the receiving recess, and the other end abuts the touchpad body. The latching assembly includes a first restricting member connected to the connecting portion and a second restricting member fixed to the receiving hole and exposed from the receiving hole.

The front wall defines a number of slots arranged along a sliding direction of the height extender. The upper connecting end is configured for connecting with a flat panel display device. A positioning member includes a threaded rod and a flange extending outward from the threaded rod. The threaded rod slidably extends through the sidewall of the base and includes a distal end. The distal end is able to be received in one of the slots to set the height extender in a desired position. The flange is external to the receiving space of the base. A locking member includes a nut and two guide rods protruding from the nut.
