According to an embodiment of the present invention, a rotating nozzle assembly includes a rotatable shaft having a bore to transport a cryogenic fluid therethrough. The rotatable shaft has an upstream portion associated with a feed chamber and a downstream portion. The nozzle assembly further includes a seal disposed within the feed chamber and surrounding at least a portion of the rotatable shaft, and a seal backup disk disposed proximate the seal. The seal backup disk includes an orifice surrounding an outside diameter of the rotatable shaft, the orifice having a diameter such that, when the cryogenic fluid is flowing through the bore of the rotatable shaft, the rotatable shaft can freely rotate while the seal prevents the cryogenic fluid from seeping past the seal.

An apparatus and associated method of joining a night vision device to a camera device to record images during night time or low light conditions. The present invention includes a substantially rigid mounting plate that connects to the bottom surfaces of both the night vision device and the camera device, whereby the objective lens assembly of the camera device is held in optical alignment with the ocular lens assembly of the night vision device. As a result, the night vision device and camera device are joined together both physically and optically, while each is also independently supported by the mounting plate. The mounting plate is configured to compensate for size differentials between the night vision device and the camera device. Accordingly, the mounting plate aligns the optical axis of the night vision device with the optical axis of the camera device even if these optical axes normally do not align. An adaptor is used to physically join the ocular lens assembly of the night vision device to the objective lens assembly of the camera device. The adaptor physically engages both the night vision device proximate the ocular lens assembly and the camera device proximate the objective lens assembly. The adaptor includes a stabilizing element that attaches to the mounting plate, thereby providing additional support to both the camera device and the night vision device.

A fueling facility and method for dispensing liquid natural gas (LNG), compressed natural gas (CNG) or both on-demand. The fueling facility may include a source of LNG, such as cryogenic storage vessel. A low volume high pressure pump is coupled to the source of LNG to produce a stream of pressurized LNG. The stream of pressurized LNG may be selectively directed through an LNG flow path or to a CNG flow path which includes a vaporizer configured to produce CNG from the pressurized LNG. A portion of the CNG may be drawn from the CNG flow path and introduced into the CNG flow path to control the temperature of LNG flowing therethrough. Similarly, a portion of the LNG may be drawn from the LNG flow path and introduced into the CNG flow path to control the temperature of CNG flowing therethrough.

A combined collimator/diopter cell subassembly for use in a monocular optical device. The subassembly has its own housing, wherein the subassembly housing is a two part structure that joins together in a clam shell like fashion. The subassembly housing defines a plurality of reliefs that engage and retain the various lens elements that comprise the collimator and the diopter cell. The subassembly housing also defines slots that retain mirrors, creating a folded optical path whereby light enters the collimator and exists the diopter cell. Since the subassembly housing is shaped to hold the various lenses and mirrors in a predetermined relationship, the amount of labor required to both produce the collimator and diopter and position them within the optical deice is greatly reduced.
