摘要： Isolated non-pathogenic bacterium which comprises a nucleic acid molecule that encodes guanylyl cyclase C agonist operably linked to regulatory sequences operable in bacterium and isolated bacterium which comprises a nucleic acid molecule that encodes guanylyl cyclase C agonist operably linked to inducible regulatory sequences operable in bacterium are disclosed. Isolated culture of such bacteria and uses thereof in the prevention and treatment of colonic polyps and/or colorectal cancer as well as methods of activating guanylyl cyclase C in humans are disclosed.
