摘要： The present invention relates to a cartridge holder assembly for a drug delivery device as well as to such drug delivery device and to a corresponding method of assembly, wherein the cartridge holder assembly comprises: a cartridge holder (14; 40) adapted to receive a cartridge (12) to be filled with a medicinal product to be dispensed by the drug delivery device, wherein the cartridge holder (14; 40) comprises at least one through opening at a distal end section to receive a piercing element (20) being adapted to penetrate a sealing septum (22) of the cartridge (12), a constriction member (26; 42) being adapted to axially abut against the septum (22) and comprising a through opening (34; 52) to receive the piercing element (20), wherein said through opening (34; 52) is adjustable in diameter.

An assembly for a drug delivery device (1) is provided comprising a cartridge (4), an adjusting member (12, 25, 28, 34) and a cartridge holder (3). The cartridge holder (3) has a distal end and a proximal end. The adjusting member (12, 25, 28, 34) is secured to the cartridge holder (3). The adjusting member (12, 25, 28, 34) holds a distal portion of the cartridge (4) at a distance with respect to a distal portion of the cartridge holder (3).

摘要： A drive mechanism of a drug delivery device is presented comprising of a piston rod extending in an axial direction to be operably engaged with a piston of a cartridge, the piston rod being adapted to exert distally directed pressure to the piston for expelling a liquid medicament from the cartridge. A housing component to accommodates the piston rod and has a guiding member extending in a lateral plane and being engaged with piston rod for guiding the same in axial direction relative to the housing component. At least one actuation lock is used to engage with the piston rod to inhibit a proximally directed movement of the piston rod relative to the housing component.
