摘要： A jute degumming process that features effective removal of impurities like pigment and xylogen in jute fiber with an easy process and low cost. The jute degumming process is attained by unpacking and bunching raw jute. Treating the raw jute with an aqueous solution of compound enzyme made from pectase and laccase. The jute is then patched up for a predetermined duration wherein it is rinsed with hot water. An aqueous solution of reductive bleaching agent is then added to bleach the jute followed by adding a decolourizer thereto. The resulting jute is stamped, rinsed, oiled, dehydrated, dried whereby the jute fiber is decolorized and an impurity free jute fiber is obtained.
