摘要： A thermally regulatable calender roll, e.g. for drying paper webs, can have a roll body centered on a pair of flanged stub shafts whose flange on at least one end of the roll body can be provided with at least one annular groove or chamber communicating with the heating bores of the roll body. The pitch circle of the heating bores is located outwardly of the pitch circle of the bolts attaching the flanges to the roll body and the heating medium is fed through at least one of the stub shafts to the annular groove and the bores.
