摘要： A method of packaging eggs including shelling the eggs and loading the shelled eggs in their natural state into a packaging apparatus has been disclosed. The packaging apparatus includes a container structure divided by restriction means into a plurality of interconnecting egg-receiving compartments. Several embodiments of the packaging apparatus are disclosed, and the restriction means operates to restrict the tendency of shelled eggs from flowing from one compartment to another so as to prevent the eggs from mixing during transport and to permit the extraction of one or more eggs at a time from the container structure. Closure means are also disclosed for tightly closing the container structure.
