    Abstract: Provided is a steering device including a lock nut that fixes an outer race of a turning nut threadably engaged with a rack bar. A loosening prevention protruding portion formed on a lock nut main body is brought into contact with a radial-direction abutting portion to prevent loosening of the lock nut with a frictional force. At the same time, a lock nut recessed portion for reducing mechanical stiffness is formed in an outer peripheral surface of the loosening prevention protruding portion so that an external force acting from the outer race is buffered by the lock nut recessed portion. In this manner, a decrease in contact area between the loosening prevention protruding portion and the radial-direction abutting portion is reduced.

The second board includes an inner-layer conductor and provided with a control circuit. A thickness of the inner-layer conductor of the first board is thicker than a thickness of the inner-layer conductor of the second board. The thickness of the inner-layer conductor of the first board is 1.7 to 2.3 times the thickness of the inner-layer conductor of the second board.

    Abstract: Poor opening is detected with certainty and reliability with respect to a ground line of an integrated circuit device regardless of the connection state of a load and the operating state of a drive circuit. In an integrated circuit device 10, a drive circuit 30 switches between conduction and interruption of a load current using switch elements 40 and 45. The ground line 31 is grounded via the GND terminal 32 to the common ground provided outside the integrated circuit device 10 and is connected to the drive circuit 30. The ground line 21 is grounded to the common ground via the GND terminal 22 and is connected to the control circuit 20. The diagnostic current supply circuit 90 supplies a predetermined diagnostic current to the ground line 31. The rectifying elements 61 and 62 are connected between the ground line 21 and the ground line 31. The diagnostic circuit 70 measures the potential difference between the ground line 31 and the ground line 21 and compares the potential difference with the predetermined comparison voltage 73 to diagnose the grounding state of the ground line 31.

    Abstract: A battery data transmission device detects the states of a plurality of battery cells, and transmits, via a transmission path, battery data that is data regarding the detected plurality of battery cells. The device includes an encoding unit that has a plurality of encoding modes and encodes the battery data into encoded data, a mode selection unit that selects any one encoding mode from the plurality of encoding modes, and a transmission control unit that transmits, to a battery management device, the encoded data in the encoding mode selected by the mode selection unit, and receives, from the battery management device, reception information on the transmitted data. The mode selection unit selects, when the previous transmission data communication is abnormal according to the reception information from the battery management device, as the encoding mode for the transmission for this time, the encoding mode in which the past battery data is not used in decoding.

    Abstract: Reliability of a rotating electrical machine is enhanced. A stator of a rotating electrical machine includes: a stator core being provided with teeth and slots on a cylindrical inner side surface of the stator core; a plurality of winding wires being each arranged inside each of the slots; and slot liners being each arranged respectively between an inner wall of each of the slots and each of the plurality of winding wires, each of the slot liners has a sheet-like first insulating substrate, a second insulating material layer being disposed on at least one surface of each of the slot liners, and an adhesive layer which expands between the first insulating substrate and the second insulating material layer by processing, the second insulating material layer is provided with a through-hole which communicates a side of the first insulating substrate with the inner wall of each of the slots, and each of the slot liners is disposed inside each of the slots in such a way that the second insulating material layer is provided on a side closer to the inner wall of each of the slots than the first insulating substrate.

    Abstract: An electric actuator including: an electric motor capable of rotating forward and backward; and a motion conversion mechanism configured to convert rotation of the electric motor into reciprocating linear motion of a screw shaft. The motion conversion mechanism including: a nut configured to be rotationally driven by the electric motor; and the screw shaft capable of being threadedly inserted through the nut. A lubricant holding portion having an outer diameter larger than a diameter of a screw hole of the nut and being capable of housing lubricant is formed on an inner periphery of an end of the nut in an axial direction. A lid member configured to cover an opening end of the lubricant holding portion in an axial direction is provided. Thus, an electric actuator can prevent wear at a threaded engagement portion between a nut and a screw shaft by sufficiently lubricating the threaded engagement portion.
