摘要： A liquid crystal display device is provided, capable of minimizing deterioration in display quality of a liquid crystal panel due to external force generated by connection with an external chassis such as a customer's chassis. The liquid crystal display device has, at least, a front frame, a liquid crystal panel, and a backlight unit having at least a rear frame, arranged in this order. A back fixing frame to be fixed to the front frame is provided on the back face of the liquid crystal display device, and attachment portions to be attached to an external chassis are provided in the back fixing frame. This makes it difficult for external force generated by connection with the external chassis to be transmitted to the liquid crystal panel or the backlight unit, suppresses deformation of the liquid crystal panel or reflection sheet and prevents deterioration in display quality.

In another backlight unit, a reflecting member is divided, with respect to the arrangement direction of the lamps, into an end lamp near region which is opposed to a lamp arranged in end portion and a middle region which is nearer to a middle area than the end lamp region, the end lamp region having a higher reflectance than the middle region.

摘要： A film member is provided between a liquid crystal panel and the front panel of a front frame. The film member is thinner than the gap between the liquid crystal panel and the front panel. The film member is strip-shaped, one end part thereof in the width direction is attached to the front panel, and the other end part thereof is in contact with the liquid crystal panel. The film member is formed from PET, has a thickness of 25 to 100 μm, and is black or gray in color. Four such strip-shaped film members are positioned so as to surround the opening of the front frame. A large load is thereby not placed on the liquid crystal panel, the thickness of the device as a whole in not increased, and the ingress of debris and light leakage can be prevented.
