    摘要: An electrophotographic plate-making apparatus in which a light beam is applied to the surface of a photoconductive sensitive material from a light-beam applying device so as to form an image and a register mark on the surface of the sensitive material the image and the register mark are transferred onto an outer peripheral surface of an intermediate transfer material, a recording material and the intermediate transfer material are moved while the outer peripheral surface of the intermediate transfer while the outer peripheral surface of the are brought into contact with each other, the movement of the recording material and the intermediate transfer material is controlled by detecting the transferred register mark, thereby to transfer the image onto the recording material with high positional accuracy. By forming the register mark through light-beam scanning, it is possible to provide the photosensitive material with the register mark efficiently and reliably, so that the image can be transferred onto the recording material with high positional accuracy.

    摘要: An image is exposed to light after a conductive and photoconductive material has been charged so that the charge of the portion exposed to light is neutralized and a latent image is thereby formed. Toner particles in a liquid developer are adsorbed onto the non-exposed portion so that development is performed. Then, the toner particles are dried by a drying device and thus aggregated toner particles are transferred to a transferring material due to an electrostatic force. Since the toner image is temporarily dried and is transferred in the aggregated form corresponding to the shape of the image, image disorder due to liquid fluidization that takes place at the time of liquid transference can be prevented. Therefore, a high quality transferred image is obtained.

    摘要: In a liquid electrophotographic method, in which while a photoconductive drum is rotating a plurality of toners are deposited thereon to thereby transfer an image simultaneously onto a transfer material, at a first rotation of the drum, each color toner image is formed onto the drum and the drum is dried during a second rotation thereof. Consequently, the image information can be transferred utilizing the time taken to dry the drum. In addition, in the same apparatus, an electric charging unit, an exposure unit, a developing unit, a drying unit, a transfer unit and the like are disposed along the outer circumference of the drum. Consequently, the entire apparatus can be compactly arranged.

    摘要: Wet-type electrostatic photographic transferring method is disclosed, comprising developing an electrostatic latent image formed on an image-carrying member with an electrostatic photographic liquid developer containing at least toner particles and a carrier liquid, and transferring the toner image from the toner image-carrying member to a member to which the image is to be transferred, by one transferring step or a plurality of transferring steps, characterized in that the transferring step includes at least the following steps: (1) a step to substantially dry the toner image; (2) a step to supply a non-aqueous solvent having a volume resistance of at least 10.sup.9 .OMEGA..multidot.cm and a dielectric constant of not more than 3 into a clearance between the toner image-carrying member and the member to which the image is to be transferred; and (3) a step to transfer the toner image to the member to which the image is to be transferred.
