摘要： A method, apparatus and system are provided for controlling base stations for multimedia broadcast communications. In one embodiment, an apparatus includes a reporting subsystem configured to compile an activity status report based on a counting report and a channel quality indicator report received from user equipment and to send the activity status report to an entity of the communication system. The apparatus also includes a dynamic single-frequency network subsystem configured to control a multimedia broadcast and multimedia multicast service provided by the apparatus as a function of a static contribution table associated therewith and the activity status report.

摘要： A method for combating the tracking of a mobile transceiver, comprising at the mobile transceiver: enabling, until a first time, the transmission of a radio packet that depends upon a first anonymous address; enabling, from a second time, the transmission of a radio packet that depends upon a second anonymous address; and disabling, between the first time and the second time, the transmission of a radio packet that depends upon either the first anonymous address or the second anonymous address. Also described is a method for combating the tracking of a mobile transceiver, comprising at the mobile transceiver: transmitting, until a first time, radio packets that depend upon a first anonymous address; transmitting, from a second time, radio packets that depend upon a second anonymous address; and transmitting, between the first time and the second time, radio packets that depend on neither the first anonymous address nor the second anonymous address.

The processor may be configured to receive (102), via a source cell, an indication of service availability for a particular service in a target cell, determine (104) whether a current transmission format of the target cell is indicative of the particular service being available at a region proximate to an edge of the target cell, switch to communication with the target cell from communication with the source cell in response to a determination that the current transmission format of the target cell indicates that the particular service is available’ at the region proximate to the edge of the target cell, and trigger (110, 112, 130) the target cell to make an adjustment (120, 132) to the transmission format to cover cell edge area in response to a determination that the current transmission format of the target cell indicates that the particular service is not available at the region proximate to the edge of the target cell. A corresponding method and computer program product are also provided.
