Abstract:
An omnibus in the form of an articulated vehicle with one traction vehicle and one or more trailer towed thereby characterized in that the traction vehicle is coupled with at least one trailer in a modular fashion by a detachable towbar which at its front end has a hitch or coupling pin, which is connected with a self-locking towing coupling provided at the rear of the respective vehicle and further connected via a fifth wheel with the front end of a trailer and which is connected via turnpins in bearing eyes at the end of the main girders of floor framework of the traction vehicle.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a control device for the adjustment of the injection timing and/or the pumping rate of a fuel injection pump for IC engines in which the control commands from a microprocessor are transmitted by way of an electrical stepper motor via motion transmitting members with an intermediate spring force storage means to a control rod of the pump, there is a return compression spring with which the control rod may be returned from any position thereof to the zero delivery position. The stepper motor, the motion transmitting members, the spring force storage means and the return spring, an electro-mechanical tachometer generator driven by the injection pump shaft and responding to the speed of rotation thereof and a step generator responding to the steps of the stepper motor, are arranged as a sub-assembly, which is either adapted to be mounted on the outside of the injection pump in an assembled condition or, with the essential components in an assembled condition, are able to be connected with other assembled parts on the control rod and/or on the injection pump shaft when the injection pump is fitted in place.
Abstract:
A roller holder for a track steered vehicle consists of functional elements which are detachably joined together, that is to say a head part with a roller height adjustment means, a center part with an annular preferential point of weakness cross section and a connecting part with an arresting means. With its connecting part the roller holder runs on a follower arm for adjustment to track width and the holder is able to be slid along the arm and able to be fixed at any desired position by means of the arresting means within the range of sliding. Furthermore, there is a safety strap in the roller holder which prevents loss of the roller holder if it should break off.
Abstract:
A roller guide device enabling a vehicle to be steered automatically consists of a roller retaining mechanism having a retaining lever connected to a steering linkage of a vehicle, and a pivoting lever which is pivotally connected to the forward end of the retaining lever. Arranged at the free end of the pivoting lever is a freely rotatable contact roller which can be pivoted from a retracted position in which the pivoting lever essentially coincides with the retaining lever in the direction of the pivoting shaft, into an operatively extended essentially straight-line position. The pivoting lever additionally rotates as a function of its pivoting motion about its longitudinal axis through about 90.degree., so that retraction and extension of the contact roller by pivoting through 180.degree. is achieved by a primary drive, with the contact roller concurrently rotating through 90.degree. through a secondary drive. In its extended position, the contact roller is brought into contact with and urged against a stationary guide track so as to roll therealong. This allows for mechanical, fully automatic track control of the vehicle when the contact roller is extended. In the nonautomatic steering mode, the retracted contact roller is arranged within the contour of the vehicle body to obviate road hazards when a roller guide device on a vehicle projects laterally therefrom.
