Abstract: A System and Method for Explosion-Proof Pump is provided comprising a component being mated to an adjacent component by sealing means. An embodiment provides that the component is a switch housing having a cavity formed therein. A switch is secured in the cavity and the adjacent component is selected from the group access plate and motor housing.
