Abstract:
A mattress pad assembly for use with a child containment area is disclosed. The mattress pad assembly includes a mattress pad having a plurality of panels each of which is coupled to at least one other panel along a flexible seam, wherein the mattress pad is reconfigurable between a non-planar configuration and a planar configuration defined by the cooperation of the plurality of panels to form a flexible top surface and a substantially rigid bottom surface. The mattress pad assembly further includes a support assembly coupled to the bottom surface of the mattress pad when the mattress pad is in the planar configuration, the support assembly having one or more support connectors coupled to at least two of the plurality of panels, and a brace configured to removably cooperate with the one or more support connectors, wherein the brace is configured to engage each of the plurality of panels to prevent bending along the flexible seam.
Abstract:
A machine tool for machining a molded part, such as an elastomeric coated valve component includes a rotatable cutting tool having a shape corresponding to the shape of a cavity of the valve component. A method of machining the molded part is also disclosed.
Abstract:
A beverage cup or container that is usable as a bullhorn device is disclosed. The cup is preferably made of a disposable material, such as paper, molded plastic or foam. The cup has a hollow body portion, shaped to form a cylinder or cone, with an open first end, and a second end located distal from the first end. The second end has a removable, or selectively separable, portion formed by a perforation in a base portion. A pull tab or other device may be provided to aid in separation of the removable portion from the body portion.

Abstract:
An encryption management system provides a solution for embedded system device authentication, secure server-to-device communications, and encryption key management. It reduces implementation times and costs associated with using cryptography for authentication and data privacy with embedded systems applications by freeing application developers from having to develop, manage, or update security-based features in their server-based applications. The template-based approach of the system provides highly customable and accessible security functionalities. To utilize services provided by the encryption management system in some embodiments, calling applications provide input parameters and function calls in the form of a template at runtime, and the output in the form of encrypted and secured messages are either sent to the client devices automatically or returned to the calling applications. As such, security functionalities and objects, though segregated in the encryption management system to provide enhanced protection, can still be easily accessed and can be updated without recompiling the calling applications.
