A relief valve to drain the fluid remaining in the filling hose after the filling pressure is off. A sight level indicator to visually show that the tank is in a filled condition. A monitoring node to be used with or without the mechanical cutoff valve in a totally controlled application where the filling person is not responsible for shutting off the filling tank truck, with two switches, one to alert that the tank is near a filled condition and the second to alert that the tank is in a filled condition.

    摘要: An automated telephone answering system with plug-in tone responsive unit at each of a plurality of extensions, a central answering unit responds to a caller initiated, telephone company generated, ring signal on the telephone line and establishes a connection with the calling phone. Each of the remote units responds to a different predetermined, selectable tone frequency. When the caller pushes a key on a standard Touch Tone phone key pad to select a specific extension, the responding remote unit generates a ringing signal for that extension. If the telephone line has an on-hook status, the system has means that prevents response to further tone signals.

    摘要: A method for providing user adjustable variable gain for a night vision device which utilizes an image intensifier tube, wherein the image intensifier tube has a given life expectancy, the image intensifier tube is subjected to factory calibration for providing an optimum output during operation, wherein the calibration undesirably differs from tube to tube and is adjustable by variable control means coupled to the tube, whereby when one tube is substituted for another the difference in calibration causes non-optimum performance, the method including the steps of: determining minimum and maximum gain limits associated with the optimum output of the night vision device; factory calibrating gain limiting means according to the determined minimum and maximum gain limits, wherein the gain limiting means are associated with the image intensifier tube and for limiting the variable control means; and, tethering the gain limiting means to the image intensifier tube.

    摘要: An optical fiber communications link which by means of pulse-width-modulation (PWM) encoding supports either synchronous or asynchronous data transmission and operation over a wide range of data rates. The link utilizes a PWM encoder which accepts either synchronous (clock plus data) or asynchronous (data only) binary inputs and generates a PWM encoded waveform. This waveform is transmitted via an optical transmitter, optical channel (e.g., fiber optics) and optical receiver to the PWM decoder which reconstructs the binary inputs. The optical receiver contains a receiver circuit for assuring automatic gain control regardless of the duty cycle. In the synchronous mode of operation the unsymmetrical clock output is restored to symmetry by using a clock symmetry restoration technique.

    摘要: An ozone and oxidation chamber for treating a liquid has a housing provided with an influent line and an effluent line spaced from one another for creating a flow of a liquid through the housing. At least one rotatable axle provided with an agitating blade is arranged extending through the housing transverse to the influent and effluent lines, and to the path of liquid being treated, for agitating the liquid in order to mix into the liquid at a high rate oxygen and ozone received from an injection nozzle directed into the liquid and toward the blade. The rotation of the agitator blade is adequate to generate sufficient frictional forces created during the passage of the blade through the liquid to create static electricity on the blade that facilitates conversion of oxygen injected into the liquid, and found in the liquid itself, into ozone which kills germs, virus, and the like in the liquid.
