Abstract:
A system includes a network, multiple different types of survey sensors connected to the network, and a controller connected to the network. The multiple different types of survey sensors are configured to communicate different types of measurement data over the network to the controller.
Abstract:
A mating and connection system for securing adjacent stages of a launch vehicle. The system includes a locking flange connected to each of a first vehicle stage and a second vehicle stage. A compression ring is positioned internal to the first and second vehicle stages. The compression ring is shaped to compress together the locking flanges of the first and second stages upon engagement with the locking flanges. A locking jack is capable of being activated from an exterior of the first and second stages and operates to selectively move the compression ring into and out of engagement with the locking flanges.
Abstract:
A spa cover lifting device employs a pivot bar attached to a piston and transverse bar. The pivot bar and piston are anchored adjacent to a spa, and the transverse bar extends in a perpendicular direction across the spa cover. The pivot bar is anchored to the spa by a first mounting bracket, and the piston is anchored to the spa by a separate, second mounting bracket. As the pivot bar is raised, it is augmented by the piston to assist in lifting the spa cover, while the transverse bar transfers the lifting force to the spa cover.
Abstract:
A sensor cable for surveying. The sensor cable may comprise at least one pair of current sensor electrodes and an amplifier. The current sensor electrodes may be disposed along opposite sides of the sensor cable. The current sensor electrodes may be configured to detect current in an electromagnetic field transverse to an inline direction of the sensor cable. The amplifier may be configured to amplify the current in the electromagnetic field for detection by the electrode pair.

Abstract:
A system to perform a marine subterranean survey includes at least one vertical electromagnetic (EM) source and at least one EM receiver to measure a response of a subterranean structure that is responsive to EM signals produced by the vertical EM source. At least one tow cable is used to tow the EM source and EM receiver through a body of water.
Abstract:
A method is disclosed for assessing uncertainty comprising: creating a catalog for uncertainty areas; capturing quantitative and qualitative uncertainty data; establishing dependencies between uncertainties; associating risks to uncertainties; associating action plans and tasks to risks; creating a realization tree from uncertainty ranges; and tracking changes to uncertainties and realizations over time.
Abstract:
A speaker rack for use with spas including a first and second member with the second member comprising generally extending members. The first member is coupled to the generally extending members of the second member. This first member allows for support, helps an individual move the speaker rack into different positions easily, and acts as a place to hang towels, clothing, and the like. Multi-position detents attach to the second member and allow for the speaker rack to be placed in an extreme upward position, an extreme downward position, and positions in between. Speakers that can be swiveled and pivotally mounted attach to speaker attachment means on the generally extending members of the second member, and speaker wiring may run through an aperture in the second member and attach to an output device allowing for entertainment while in or around the spa.
