Abstract:
A differential-pressure measuring instrument comprising a main body assembly with a pair of diaphragms each subject to a respective fluid pressure. The diaphragms enclose a sealed chamber containing a fill-liquid surrounding a non-magnetic vibratable wire which is tensioned in accordance with the applied differential pressure. A magnetic field passes transversely through the wire, and electrical current is supplied to the wire by electronic circuit means to produce a vibratory force on the wire as a result of interaction between the electrical current and the magnetic field.
Abstract:
A differential-pressure measuring instrument includes a pair of diaphragms each subject to a respective fluid pressure. The diaphragms enclose a sealed chamber containing a fill-liquid surrounding a non-magnetic vibratable-wire which is tensioned in accordance with the applied differential pressure.A temperature compensating inductor is connected in parallel with the vibratable-wire to compensate for variationsin the vibrating frequency of the wire due to changes in the viscosity of the fill-liquid with temperature.
