摘要： A system and method for redeeming loyalty points for transactions that may include non-tangible and tangible items. The transactions are collected in an electronic shopping cart as the user browses various items. Once the user completes the collection of transactions, the user may proceed to checkout. Upon checkout, the system processes each transaction in the shopping cart and contacts third party partners and other entities as necessary to complete the transaction.
