Abstract:
A system for logging events of network devices includes an event management module (110), an event forwarding module (120), a plurality of service modules (130), an event storing module (150), and a user interface (160). The event management module includes an event buffer (111). The service modules generate various events and classify them. Based on a callback function, the event forwarding module collects classified events and sends them to the event management module. The event management module stores events in the event storing module, and provides the events to the user interface for display according to a predefined filtering mechanism. A method for logging events of network devices is also disclosed.
Abstract:
A broadband fiber laser provides a lasing cavity including a reflective minor and at least one fiber Bragg grating for further providing a lasing signal to resonate and be amplified therein. Alternatively, the wavelength of the fiber laser can be either fixed or tunable by varying the central wavelength of the fiber Bragg grating and/or by adjusting the switching status of an optical switch pair.
Abstract:
A system for loading images includes a read-only memory (ROM) (160) for storing the images; an initialization module (110) for initializing a running environment of the system, and for starting up a procedure for automatically loading the images; an image-searching module (130) for searching the images in the ROM; an image-validating module (140) for validating the images that are found by the image-searching module; an image-loading module (150) for loading valid images to a memory of a network device. A related method for loading images is also provided.
Abstract:
A pressure-reduction oxygen dissolving apparatus includes a container, at least one wave-shaped layer in the container for exchanging gases, at least one oxygen storage/exchange tank on each wave-shaped layer for exchanging gases, a water inlet at the top of the container for filling water into the container, a water outlet installed at the bottom of the container for discharging water out from the container, and a gas inlet for filling oxygen into the container. The oxygen enters into the container through the gas inlet to fill up each oxygen storage/exchange tank. After the oxygen has reached a specific pressure, water enters into the container from the water inlet and flows through chambers of the oxygen storage/exchange tank, and oxygen is dissolved in water naturally. Since the pressure increases the dissolved oxygen content significantly, the water outlet can be opened to obtain water with higher oxygen content.

Abstract:
The present invention provides a method using Q-learning rule to accurately estimate the transmission cost for the multi-rate transmission control (MRTC) for RRC (radio resource control) in the WCDMA network. This method comprises the following iterative steps: first obtaining a system state and an action using an incoming request, a mean of interference and a variance of interference, then obtaining Q values based on the system state and the action. Afterwards, allocating an optimal action with the Q values, and when a new request with a new state arrives, going back to the first step and updating the Q values using the new state and a cost function based on the system state and the action.
