摘要: Disclosed is an angioplasty balloon catheter and method of use, said angioplasty balloon catheter includes an elongated tip end with physical characteristics nearly identical to a standard angiographic diagnostic catheter. The elongated tip end extends approximately between 2 cm to 75 cm beyond a distal end of a balloon, depending upon embodiments. The tip of the elongated tip end may be angled or straight depending upon embodiments and may or may not have a plurality of side holes in addition to an end hole depending on embodiments. The elongated tip end permits the angioplasty balloon catheter to tract more easily across tortuous or markedly angulated segments of a dialysis graft or fistula, minimizing complications that can result with currently available devices. If angulated, the elongated tip end also enables a user to selectively catheterize an artery without needing a separate diagnostic catheter to do so, and enable tracking and cornering across sharply angulated vessel segments. Whether with an angled or straight distal catheter portion, the angioplasty balloon catheter disclosed herein allows the user to perform angioplasty of an inflow segment of a dialysis graft or fistula and then perform post angioplasty angiographic imaging without the need to exchange the angioplasty balloon catheter for a diagnostic catheter, advance the balloon catheter into the native artery, or perform a blowback angiographic run, thereby improving safety and reducing procedure time.

摘要: Disclosed is an angioplasty balloon catheter and method of use, said angioplasty balloon catheter includes an elongated tip end with physical characteristics nearly identical to a standard angiographic diagnostic catheter. The elongated leading end extends approximately between 3 cm to 75 cm beyond a distal end of the balloon, depending upon embodiments. The tip of the elongated leading end may be angled or straight depending upon embodiments and may or may not have a plurality of side holes in addition to the end hole depending on embodiments. The elongated leading end permits the PTA balloon catheter to tract more easily across tortuous or markedly angulated segments of the dialysis graft or fistula, minimizing complications that can result with currently available devices. If angulated, the elongated distal end also enables a user to selectively catheterize an artery without needing a separate diagnostic catheter to do so, and enable tracking and cornering across sharply angulated vessel segments. Whether with an angled or straight distal catheter portion, the hybrid device discloses herein allows the operator to perform angioplasty of an inflow segment of a dialysis graft or fistula and then perform post angioplasty angiographic imaging without the need to exchange the angioplasty balloon catheter for a diagnostic catheter, advance the balloon catheter into the native artery, or perform a blowback angiographic run, thereby improving safety and reducing procedure time.

摘要: A method for sharing documents between on-demand services is provided. In an embodiment, a user of a first on-demand service may be able to view a list of content that includes content stored at the first on-demand service and content stored at a second on-demand service. The content of the second on-demand service may be associated with information about the content, allowing the content to be shared among multiple users of the first on-demand service. The user wanting to view the content, select or click on an indicator identifying the content, a connection to the second on-demand service is established, and images of the content are sent from the second on-demand service to the first on-demand service.

摘要: A multifaceted trivet with multifaceted functionality includes a trivet (50) within a basket (54), a trivet (50) that may serve as a lid and a trivet with a rotatable base. The trivet (50) within a basket (54) provides further insulation by use of the basket (54). The basket (54) has serving handles (56) which allows a heated item to be placed within the basket and easily carried to a serving area The trivet (50) that may serve as a lid may function as a trivet on which a pot or container may be placed or may fit as a lid of a particular pot or container. The trivet (50) having a rotatable base rotates for greater access to a serving dish support by the trivet (50). The trivet with a rotatable base may further include a basket having wheels (58) for placing the trivet (50) within to carry the trivet (50) and the serving dish and to provide an alternative movement of the trivet.

摘要: A method of processing a document workflow includes the initial step of providing a document workflow system including a grid computing system in communication with at least one I/O device. The document workflow system is configured to process at least one print job. The method also includes the step of partitioning the processing of the at least one print job between the grid computing system and the at least one I/O device. The grid computing system is configured to process at least one non-physical component of the document workflow and the at least one I/O device is configured to process at least one physical component of the document workflow.

摘要: In the inventive method, a tooth whitener having a concentration of hydrogen peroxide significantly lower than the concentration typically used in in-office applications is applied to the teeth in gel form. Next, thin transparent film is placed over the teeth to seal the tooth whitener onto the teeth. The film creates a closed system that precludes oxygen from migrating away from the teeth into the atmosphere. A white light in the range of 380-660 nm wavelength is then activated to assist in exciting oxygen in the path of the light and the oxygen molecules bombard the tooth surfaces. The oxygen molecules may not easily escape from the tooth surfaces into the atmosphere due to the wrap and, thus, their whitening “power” is enhanced and lengthened. Then, the patient may stabilize the whitening results over a 7 to 10 day regime using a lower concentration tooth whitener.

摘要: A dipstick-type applicator for tooth whitener and skin care medication includes a housing defining an internal chamber sealed when an applicator is received therein. A quantity of liquid medication is hermetically sealed within the chamber. The applicator consists of a gripping portion, a stem, and at the distal end of the stem, a tip made of a flexible absorbent material having a flat angled distal surface that is specifically designed to best coat the user's teeth with tooth whitener or the user's skin with skin care medication. A wiper within the housing has a reduced diameter opening, through which the tip of the applicator must travel to remove the tip from the chamber filled with liquid medication. The relationship between the outer dimensions of the tip and the opening in the wiper is such that excess liquid medication is removed from the tip as it is removed from the chamber.

摘要: Apparatus and method for remote administration of a PC-server and which enables remote keyboard input, even during re-boot sequence of the PC-server. The apparatus comprises an adapter emulating video of a display adapter to convert display data, including boot-level data at the console, for serial transmission to a remote user. Further, the microprocessor converts input commands from the user to a form compatible with the PC-server input interface such as scan codes for a keyboard input interface. Additionally, the method and apparatus of the present invention makes it possible to route textual data to a speech synthesizer at the boot level.

摘要: Apparatus and method for remote administration of a PC-server, this invention enables remote keyboard input, even during re-boot sequence of the PC-server. The apparatus comprises an adapter emulating a video frame buffer of a display adapter to convert textual display data to ANSI escape sequences including boot-level data at the console, a serial communications device to transmit and receive console input, and a microprocessor to retrieve character data from the frame buffer and convert it for serial transmission. Further, the microprocessor converts the input commands to scan codes compatible with the PC-server keyboard input interface. Additionally, the method and apparatus of the present invention makes it possible to route textual data to a speech synthesizer at the boot level.
