摘要： A call processing system and method based on an answer mode of a Push-to-Talk over Cellular (PoC) user are provided. A data format is defined, which inserts an indicator indicating a manual answer override into a payload of a Real-time Transport Control Protocol (RTCP) in a format of a new data field. When a PoC communication requester instructs the MAO to perform PoC communication regardless of an answer mode of a reception side PoC user, an auto-answer mode is immediately executed without any procedure of checking the instruction. In addition, when the reception side PoC user establishes an early session with a home PoC server in its own PoC terminal, the call processing can be performed at a quicker speed.

摘要： A mobile communication system supporting an MBMS service includes a Node B having a plurality of transport channels and at least one UE communicating with the Node B. The Node B selects a transport channel for MBMS control information among a plurality of transport channels mapped to a secondary common control physical channel; transmits a system information block indicating the selected transport channel to a cell area where UEs are located, using a primary common control physical channel; and transmits the MBMS control information to the cell area using the selected transport channel. The UE receives a system information block indicating a transport channel selected to transmit MBMS control information among a plurality of transport channels mapped to a secondary common control physical channel, over a primary common control physical channel; receives the MBMS control information over the selected transport channel among the plurality of the transport channels, using the system information block; and receives the MBMS service using the MBMS control information.

摘要： A method and an apparatus for selecting a location platform for a user equipment to roam and a method for determining the location of the user equipment using the same. The method for selecting a location platform includes: checking a visiting network of the UE in response to a location request message transmitted from the UE which is roaming; and selecting a location platform to calculate a location of the UE by comparing positioning capability information of the checked visiting network and positioning capability information of a home network of the UE. According to such a method, it is possible to efficiently perform the positioning of the UE, regardless of the location of the UE, thereby improving the quality of the positioning service.

摘要： A method for performing session merging between PoC sessions under the environment of multiple PoC sessions is provided. A merging PoC client sends a request for the session merging with a merged session to a PoC server managing a merging session to which the PoC client belongs. The PoC server managing the merging session sends a session merge request to a PoC server managing the merged session. Negotiation of a CF (Controlling PoC Function) for managing a session to be merged is performed between the PoC server of the merging session and the PoC server of the merged session. When an entire CF of the session to be merged is selected as the negotiation between the PoC servers is completed, the PoC server of the merged session sends an UPDATE message of modified media parameters to a PoC client of the merged session. The PoC server of the merging session sends, to a PoC client of the merging session, a NOTIFY message of a merge request notifying that the PoC server of the merging session is selected as the entire CF.

摘要： A method of adjusting the transmission time of data in a CDMA communication system. A UE (User Equipment) measures the time difference between the received time of a downlink DPCH (Dedicated Physical Channel) and the transmitted time of an uplink DPCH and reports it to an RNC (Radio Network Controller). The RNC transmits transmission time adjustment information to a node B and the UE if the time difference is out of a predetermined range. The node B then adjusts the transmission time of the downlink DPCH according to the transmission time adjustment information and transmits the downlink DPCH at the adjusted time. The UE receives the downlink DPCH by adjusting a search time for the downlink DPCH according to the transmission time adjustment information.

摘要： A method for setting up signaling connection between an RNC and an SGSN in a mobile communication system is provided. Upon receiving a service request for a particular MBMS service from a particular UE, an RNC determines whether it is necessary to set up new signaling connection for the particular MBMS service, and sets up signaling connection with an SGSN according to the determination result. The SGSN, if it desires to stop the particular MBMS service, sends a service stop request to the RNC over the signaling connection set for the particular MBMS service. The RNC then instructs at least one UE providing the particular MBMS service to stop the particular MBMS service in response to the service stop request.
