摘要： A cassette system for any type of recording medium in strip or tape form, such as films and magnetic tapes, consists essentially of a housing whose external dimensions match those of a conventional type of cassette, and a protective holder for the recording medium which is wound into at least one roll. The housing and the holder are separate or separable members and can be fitted together. Both are provided with means for inserting the holder into the housing in the correct position, and for introducing the recording medium into the transport apparatus. The housing is provided with opening and closing means. The holder can be designed to be separable from the roll of recording medium. Preferably, the housing is a precision-made article and the holder a low-cost article.

摘要： An x-ray apparatus including an x-ray source with a primary radiation diaphragm attached thereto has a luminescent foil disposed in the interior of either the x-ray source or the primary radiation diaphragm at a location so that the x-ray beam is incident thereon. Interaction of the luminescent foil with the x-ray beam causes the foil to emit light, which is conducted to an exterior of the apparatus by an optical waveguide. The light is therefore visible at a location at the exterior of the unit, such as in the housing, as a reliable indicator that x-rays are actually being generated.

摘要： This invention concerns methods and devices for switching a tape-recorder or cassette tape-recorder and especially recorders on which tapes with different magnetic coatings can be used. According to the invention, at least one section along the magnetic tape which has a much higher electric resistance than the magnetic coating is used in conjunction with arrangements of simple layout and in advantageous manner to monitor the resistance of the tape either continuously or sporadically, and at least one predetermined switching state of the recorder is allocated to each different resistance value. This ensures reliable switching of any such states as "machine on", "machine off" or "iron oxide (chromium dioxide) tape" bias, without any other special changes at the magnetic tape or at the cassette.
