摘要： Myrcene is produced in a process comprising dimerizing isoprene in a solvent of a cyclic ether, N-alkylmorpholine or mixtures thereof, with 0.5 - 20 mole% of an alkali metal catalyst and 1 - 20 mole% of a primary or secondary amine having branched-chain hydrocarbon residual groups, wherein the mole percentages are based on the amount of isoprene.
