摘要： A game apparatus particularly for checkers and chess is constructed to allow movement of the game pieces in a vertical plane while providing horizontal supporting surfaces therefor. Two or four people may play the game utilizing one or both sides of an upright game board. The apparatus is readily knocked down for convenient packaging and shipment and features detachable game piece support members or shelves. The apparatus may have a swiveled base for added convenience.
