    摘要: Systems and methods for reducing power consumption of a voltage regulator are disclosed. In accordance with one embodiment of the present disclosure a voltage regulator comprises an input node configured to receive a reference voltage and an output node configured to output an output voltage. The output voltage is a function of the reference voltage and a regulating current. The regulator further comprises a proportional to absolute temperature (PTAT) circuit coupled to at least one of the output node and the input node. The PTAT circuit is configured to vary at least one of the reference voltage and the regulating current as a function of temperature.

    摘要: Systems and methods for reducing voltage undershoot and overshoot of a voltage regulator are disclosed. In one embodiment of the present disclosure, an undershoot/overshoot regulation circuit comprises a control node having a control voltage. The regulation circuit also comprises a control circuit configured to increase the control voltage in response to a load being applied to an output node of a voltage regulator and decrease the control voltage in response to the load being removed from the output node. The regulation circuit also comprises a control capacitor including a first terminal coupled to the control node and a second terminal coupled to a gate node of the voltage regulator. The control capacitor is configured to increase a gate voltage at the gate node in response to the increase of the control voltage, and decrease the gate voltage in response to the decrease of the control voltage.

    摘要: In a blood pressure monitor, when a main unit is mounted on a mounting surface such as a desk, a bulging region of a first tube and a bulging region of a second tube, both located at a rear surface of the main unit, come into contact with the mounting surface. This can avoid the main unit from sliding even when the main unit is pulled by the first and second tubes. Consequently, a blood pressure monitor has a configuration in which the main unit is less likely to slide over the mounting surface even when the main unit is pulled by tubes connected to the main unit.

    摘要: An integrated circuit package (202) includes a voltage regulator (208) and a power-out pin (236) for coupling to a load circuit (210) via a connection (234) external to the integrated circuit package and for coupling to an output (230) of the voltage regulator via a connection (224, 228, 226 and 231) internal to the integrated circuit package. The internal connection has a series resistance that causes a voltage drop due to a load current. The voltage regulator compensates for the voltage drop in the internal connection using a current feedback circuit, in which the current fed back is proportional to the voltage drop caused by the series resistance of the internal connection.
