Abstract: A device for measuring the elastic-viscous properties of objects, in particular objects made of an elastomer material such as rubber, has a measurement body movable in relation to a holder and having a measurement head that can be set on a test object, means for moving the measurement body back and forth and means for measuring the path of displacement of the measurement head and/or the force that acts on the measurement head during the reciprocating movement of the measurement body. In order to diversify the possible uses of the device and to simplify the measurement process, the measurement body is mounted in a freely movable housing with a passage for the measurement head and a bearing surface that can be set on the test object.
