摘要： For an internal combustion engine workable at a variable speed, a fuel supply adjusting system makes a fuel supplying device supply fuel to the engine on acceleration thereof. A commanded engine speed is successively detected at a first, a second, and a current instant of time. Judgment is made in response to the commanded engine speeds at the first and the current instants whether or not the engine is being accelerated. A rate of the acceleration is calculated in response to the commanded engine speeds at the second and the current instants. An additional amount of supply of the fuel is decided by the fuel supply adjusting system in response to the rate of the acceleration and to an actual engine speed only when the engine is being accelerated.
