    摘要: An image processing apparatus includes an operating unit configured to calculate a tangent-line direction of an edge and a normal-line direction of the edge by using a vertical-direction derivative value and a horizontal-direction derivative value of a pixel value of a pixel in an input image; a converting unit configured to convert local coordinates positioned within a predetermined area with respect to a target pixel in the input image into rotated coordinates, by rotating the local coordinates according to an angle formed by the horizontal direction and the tangent-line direction of the edge; and a fitting unit configured to perform, at the rotated coordinates, a fitting process that employs a least-squares method by using a curved surface model expressed with the pixel value of the target pixel in the input image.

    摘要: Since there is a case where reproduction of metadata is limited according to the processing power of a reproduction apparatus or the designation from a user, the invention provides a data structure in which metadata whose preferential reproduction is desired can be selected and reproduced. The metadata relevant to a moving image includes a stream data structure including one or more access units each being a data unit which can be independently processed, and each of the access units includes first data to specify an effective period defined with respect to a time axis of the moving image, object area data describing a spatio-temporal region in the moving image, second data including one of or both of data to specify a display method relevant to the spatio-temporal region and data to specify a processing to be performed when the spatio-temporal region is specified, and third data to specify, in a case where one or more access units exist on a same screen in the moving image at a time of reproduction of the metadata, reproduction priority of each of the access units.

The backlight module includes a light guide plate, a first light source, a reflective plate, and a second light source.     摘要: In one embodiment, an image data acquisition unit, a filter setting unit and a filtering processor are provided. The image data acquisition unit acquires pixel data of first image data of an erect image obtained by a line sensor comprising a plurality of light receiving elements. The erect image is formed by a plurality of gradient index lenses of a lens array. The filter setting unit sets sharpening filter coefficients of a filter to be applied to the pixel data of the first image data corresponding to the respective light receiving elements, according to remainder values obtained respectively by dividing positions of the light receiving elements on the line sensor by an interval of a lens arrangement of the lens array. The filtering processor generates second image data sharpened by applying the obtained sharpening filter coefficients to the respective pixel data of the first image data.
