    摘要: An allyl amine compound such as an allyl dialkyl amine is prepared by the reaction of ammonia or a water soluble amine with an allyl halide in the presence of an alkali metal or alkaline earth metal hydroxide or carbonate using a two-phase reaction system comprising water and a water-immiscible organic liquid. The allyl amine product is of an exceptionally high purity and contains relatively small amounts of salts. When the reaction method is employed to prepare an allyl dialkyl amine, the allyl dialkyl amine can effectively be quaternized to prepare a pure diallyl dialkyl ammonium compound at high yields.

    摘要: An apparatus is described for the storage of the fibers of glass-fiber cables (23) in distribution devices in a telecommunication network, such as, for example, in casings (9) of end distributors or distribution frames (10). In order to be able to store, in a break-safe and manipulatable manner a splice reserve, wound up as, for example, in a splice cassette (58) with a movable feed cable (21), at least one cassette box (1), is provided and which is designed to receive a cassette (20). The box (1) is stored in a casing (9, 10) of the distribution device, and is provided with a removal opening (7). The box (1) can be moved from an essentially vertical storage position in the casing (9, 10) to an essentially horizontal removal position with the removal opening (7) located at the top.     摘要: The invention provides an alternative improved use of using screws, spikes and nails in joining pieces of wood. The intent of making use of the above named devices is to use a simple procedure to join separate pieces of wood using the Nail Screw or Twin Spike or Twin Nail. This is easily accomplished by using a Drill and Bit as the primary method by drilling the Nail Screw end into the wood. The secondary method would be to hammer the Twin Spike or Twin Nail using a simple tool fitting over the shank. For either method, in most cases, pre drilling would be appropriate. When using the Nail Screw, pre drilling would simplify the wood joinery. The end result would be that in most cases no metal part is visible after completion of the task.
