摘要： An automatic sewing machine includes means for advancing a work piece having a plurality of contiguous edges connected together in angular relationship to each other to sew such edges in succession, a table supporting the workpiece and having an arcuate side face along which the workpiece is guided, and a feed mechanism provided below the table along the arcuate side face for frictional engagement with a portion of the workpiece which hangs from the table. The feed mechanism is driven to turn the workpiece in such a manner that when a first edge of the workpiece has been sewn, a second edge of the workpiece contiguous to said first edge is aligned with the advancing or feed direction of the workpiece.
