The sheath of the Bowden cable (18) is fixedly attached to the coupling device (16), and the wire of the Bowden cable (18) extends from the coupling device (16) in a second direction substantially opposite to the first direction and forms a second traction wire (19). The first traction wire (17) and the second traction wire (19) are slidably held on the support member (20) and are connected to a seat frame (30) at their ends. When the wire of the Bowden cable (18) is retraced with respect to the sheath, the second traction wire (19) is shortened, the coupling device (16) is displaced in the extending direction of the second traction wire (19), whereby a tensile force is also generated in the first traction wire (17).
