Abstract:
An axial piston machine of the inclined axis type is operable as a pump or motor has a drive shaft, a drive plate rotatable with the drive shaft, a machine housing, a drum having cylindrical bores inclined to the axis of rotation of the drive plate, pistons reciprocally mounted in the bores and connected to the drive plate, and an axial slide bearing and a radial slide bearing arranged in the housing to provide axial and radial support for the drive plate, in which an improved radial slide bearing comprises a circumferentially spaced arrangement of pressure chambers formed in the outer periphery of the drive plate each corresponding to a respective one of the cylindrical bores, the pressure chamber opening outwardly of the drive plate to form a hydrostatic and a hydrodynamic radial slide bearing with an adjacent internal bearing surface of the housing. Each pressure chamber communicates with a respective cylindrical bore and receives a supply of the operating medium of the machine, and is angularly displaced relative to the cylindrical bores so as to follow or precede the cylindrical bore with respect to the direction of rotation of the drive plate in pump operation or in motor operation, respectively.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a pump, in particular to an axial piston pump of the swash plate type, wherein the suction pressure medium is fed into the swash plate chamber, so as to be arranged in layers of different pressure. The pressure medium is removed from a desired pressure layer and supplied to the pump chamber so as to obtain a desired pump flow characteristic.
Abstract:
The invention is concerned with an axial piston machine, preferably an axial piston pump of the inclined disc or skew axis type, with a cylinder (9) which rotates about an axis of rotation and in which, on a pitch circle, several pistons (8) are movably guided in piston bores (11) extending substantially along the axis of rotation (3), by means of an inclined or driving disc, or the like, the piston bores (11) opening at the face of the cylinder (9) which is remote from the inclined or driving disc (5), the face resting against a control surface (13) in which there are arranged control openings (14), positioned on the pitch circle of the pistons (8) which, in set positions of rotation of the cylinder (9) are covered by the openings of the piston bores (11), loading cylinders (24) being distributed over the circumference and acting upon the cylinder (9) against the control surface (13), and of which loading cylinders the working spaces are connected, by means of connecting channels (27), each with a respective piston bore (11) and the cylinder (9) being supported radially, directly or indirectly, on a support (18) which is fixed relative to the housing (2) and which is spaced axially from the control surface. It is the purpose of the invention, to so arrange the axial piston machine that a balanced axial and radial guidance of the cylinder (9) is possible with maximum use of the piston performance. For achieving this it is arranged that the piston bores (11) open, without narrowing of cross section, at said face (23); that said face (23) is spherically concave and the control surface (13) is correspondingly spherically convex; that the axial portion (F.sub.SK) of a control surface force (F.sub.S), which acts upon the cylinder (9) in the direction of the inclined or driving disc, or counterbalances a loading force (F.sub.ER) which acts upon the cylinder in the opposite direction; and that the size of the radius (R) of the control surface (13) is such that the intersecting point (s) of the control surface force (F.sub.S) perpendicular to the control surface (13) and of the loading force (F.sub.ER) lies in a plane (A) which extends transversely to the axis of rotation (3) and which is arranged in the region of the support (18) of the cylinder (9).
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for the production of a ball jointed connection between a guide shoe (10) and a cylinder piston (1) of a piston machine. A spherical cap-shaped recess (2) is first of all formed on the cylinder piston (1) and/or the guide shoe (10), whereby the recess (2) is undercut in such a way that the spherical cap-shaped recess (2) comprises a solid angle area (&agr;) of over 180°, and the diameter (D) in the region of the equator plane (5) is greater than the diameter (d) of the recess (2). Furthermore, a spherical head (11) is formed on the corresponding counterpart, that is the guide shoe (10) and/or the cylinder piston (1). In accordance with a first version of the invention, the spherical head (11) is pushed into the spherical cap-shaped recess (2) in such a way that the edge area (6) surrounding the spherical cap-shaped recess (2) is elastically deformed when the spherical head (11) is pushed in, and the surrounding edge area (6) grips behind the spherical head (11). Alternatively, the spherical head (11) has a flattening (20) which is plastically deformed after introduction of the spherical head (11) into the recess (2).
Abstract:
In an axial piston machine of the swashplate or bent axis type having slot control and a pressure balancing passage at the inlet end of the high pressure (HP) control slot, erosion caused by the jet of the pressure balancing passage is prevented by providing at the inlet end of the HP-control slot an interference jet passage starting from the high pressure whose opening is arranged so that the directions of flow of the pressure balancing passage and the outlet of the interference jet passage intersect.
Abstract:
A support for the drive shaft of an axial-piston machine of inclined axis construction (pivoted or tilted drum) for pressurized fluids, consisting of at least one axially loadable bearing arranged at respectively, the piston side and at the drive side with stationary outer rings arranged in a bearing housing and a load-receiving direction located the same towards the piston side. At least the outer ring of one of the bearings is axially supported on the bearing housing and at least one of the inner rings of the bearing is supported on the drive shaft at the piston side shaft and whereby, for balancing the axial components of the piston forces effective between the bearings, there is provided at least one pressure cylinder unit with a balancing piston which is acted upon with pressurized fluid from the pressure side of the machine.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a swash plate axial piston pump having several pistons, the piston heads of which are held in contact with the swash plate by means of a retraction plate, and having a central pressure-regulating valve which is forced against a valve spring by the pressure in the pressure chamber. The object is to provide a way of fixing the retraction plate on the swash plate which is simple and cheap to construct and install. This is achieved by arranging and fixing the valve spring between the valve body and the retraction plate.
