Briefly described in architecture, some embodiments of a system provide a control unit to control access to a computer according to settings specified by an administrator of the computer. Further, the system provides a reporting unit that collects information on which computer applications user has attempted to access on the computer. The information is compiled into a report regarding the respective user. Other systems and methods are also provided.

The electronic greeting includes an electronic greeting card and a personalized message. The electronic greeting also includes a gift associated with a unique code. The gift includes one or more of a: music selection, movie, computer game, and video game. The gift is retrievable via electronic download upon entry of the unique code.

Briefly described in architecture, some embodiments of such a system provide computer access settings for a user. One version of a user's computer access settings is stored in a remote database, and another version is stored in the user's computer. Further, a control unit is provided to to communicate with a server and to automatically update the versions of the computer access settings in the computer and the server to coincide with each other responsive to at least one computer event. Other systems and methods are also provided.
