When a defined event occurs, a temporally predictive non-steady profile of the drive motor torque for this event is transmitted to the controller of the automated transmission. The transmission controller ascertains and/or specifies a transmission shifting strategy on the basis of the transmitted data. There is also provided an apparatus for actuating an automated transmission, and also a test bench.
