    摘要: Disclosed is expandable modified resin beads (1), comprising a modified resin as a base resin in which a dispersion phase (3) containing a styrene resin as a major component is dispersed in a continuous phase (2) containing an olefin resin as a major component, and a physical blowing agent. Further disclosed are expanded modified resin beads obtained by expanding the expandable modified resin beads (1), and a foamed molded article formed from the expanded modified resin beads obtained by molding the expanded modified resin beads in a mold. A volume average diameter of the dispersion phase (3) dispersed in the continuous phase (2) is 0.55 μm or more. The expandable modified resin beads (1) have, as a base resin, the modified resin contains 80 to 50 parts by mass of the styrene resin with respect to 20 to 50 parts by mass parts of the olefin resins.

    摘要: Expanded styrene resin beads are made of a styrene resin as the base resin and have an average bead diameter of 0.5-10 mm and an apparent density of 0.013-0.15 g/cm3. The expanded beads are characterized in that the expanded beads each has many dimples having a maximum diameter of 5-100 μm in the surface and that when the expanded beads are secondarily expanded under the conditions of a heating steam temperature of 107° C. and a heating time of 120 seconds, then the secondary expansion ratio determined by dividing the apparent density of the expanded beads before the secondary expansion (g/cm3) by the apparent density of the expanded beads after the secondary expansion (g/cm3) satisfies the relationship (1). Secondary expansion ratio≦−7.00×{apparent density of expanded beads before secondary expansion (g/cm3)}+1.61 (1).

    摘要: A seed beads dispersing disperse system is obtained by dispersing olefin resin seed beads 1 with a specific tubular shape in an aqueous medium. Then, the olefin resin seed beads 1 are impregnated with styrene monomers and the styrene monomers are polymerized in the presence of a polymerization initiator by heating at a temperature in a specified range, to thereby obtain tubular thermoplastic resin composite beads. Expandable thermoplastic resin composite beads obtained by impregnating the thermoplastic resin composite beads with a blowing agent, expanded thermoplastic resin composite beads obtained by foaming and expanding the expandable thermoplastic resin composite beads, and a foamed molded article formed from the expanded thermoplastic resin composite beads by molding are also obtained.
