Abstract: A vehicle door is provided. The vehicle door comprising a door body, an assembly carrier connected with the door body for accommodating functional components of the vehicle door, and a multifunction carrier attached to the assembly carrier via a holding portion for connecting a door lock to the assembly carrier. A force absorption element arranged on the multifunction carrier is provided for supporting crash forces between portions of the door body.
