    摘要: A vibration tester for measuring the looseness of thread connections is disclosed which comprises a support frame, a specimen holding section mounted in the support frame and a pair of pneumatic hammers mounted at both ends of the specimen holding section. The specimen holding section consists of a largely cylindrical shaped hollow holder, a strain gauge provided and attached to the gauge carrier for measuring the looseness of specimens, a vibrating plate mounted on the hollow holder in contact with the pneumatic hammers in such a manner as to be subjected to blows from the pneumatic hammers, and a guide mechanism adapted to guide the direction of pneumatic hammer blows. With this arrangement, the pneumatic hammers are activated to deliver impacts to the vibrating plates, with the bolt making up the specimen set on the tester by being inserted through the gauge carrier, hollow holder and vibratory plate, with the nut tightened to the protruding end of the bolt. The looseness of the specimen occurring as a result of such blows is read on the strain gauge. The tester of this invention is capable of testing all types of thread connections, whatever size they may be of, with increased reliability.

    摘要: Provided is a double locknut assembly composed of a first nut and a second nut for fastening the first nut onto a bolt, wherein the above-mentioned first nut is formed therein with a bolt hole formed therein with a female screw thread threaded to engage with the screw thread of the bolt, the first nut having a projecting part, the outer peripheral surface of the projecting part having a truncated-conical surface on which a male screw thread is formed, the first nut being formed therein a slit so that the first nut is diametrically contractible, and the second nut is formed in the center section thereof with a bore having a truncated-conical surface formed therein with a female screw thread threaded to engage with the male screw thread on the outer peripheral surface of the projecting part of the first nut, thereby after the second nut is engaged with the first nut to a slight degree to form a one body unit, the first nut is engaged with a bolt, and thereafter the second nut is tightened to cause the first nut to wedge into the bolt so as to obtain a locking function.

    摘要: An inkjet printer includes an image-forming part, forming an auxiliary layer on a base material by ejecting droplets of auxiliary ink and forming an image on the auxiliary layer by ejecting droplets of image-forming ink, the auxiliary ink changing a dot formation state of droplets of the image-forming ink. In a storage part, a reference table that associates each of a plurality of types of base materials with a proper dot area rate to be used when forming the auxiliary layer is stored. In a dot-area-rate determination part, a dot area rate to be used when forming the auxiliary layer on a target base material is determined as an auxiliary ink dot area rate by referencing the reference table using the type of the target base material. This enables the inkjet printer to form a highly precise image on various base materials.
