Abstract: A system for conducting antimicrobial susceptibility testing comprising a reader, one or more cassette slots designed to accept a cassette and operatively associated with the computing device, one or more circuit boards operatively associated with each cassette slot, each circuit board including one or more light sources secured to the circuit board, and one or more light sensors secured to the circuit board, one or more cassettes operatively associated with the one or more cassette slots, each cassette including a housing to secure cassette components, one or more well carrier channels within the housing, one or more well carriers which will be housed in the one or more cassettes, each well carrier including a feed line including a lumen, a port secured to one end of the feed line, and a plurality of reaction wells operatively associated with the feed line and open to the lumen of the feed line.
